Meet Our Saturday Night Headliner: Carinda Christie Band

We're pretty excited to finally share that the incredible Carinda Christie Band will be headlining Saturday night at the Bushy Creek Makers' Fair!

Three Decades of Original Music

A powerhouse performer who’s been kicking butt for three decades, Carinda has been writing, recording and performing original music, released six albums and has opened for the likes of Ash Grunwald, Wendy Matthews, Joe Camilleri, Jeff Lang and Tex Perkins, just to name a few.

A proud Atherton Tablelands local, Carinda's songwriting is woven from life, family and the stories that shape our region. Her unmistakable soulful voice has a way of hitting you right in the chest one minute and raising goosebumps the next. Together the band creates a live show that gives Carinda the freedom to truly let loose.

A Band That Lets Loose

The Carinda Christie Band comprises of Mark Trimboli on Drums, Jason Donnelly Guitar extraordinaire and Vocals and Big Personality Vocals/Bass and Didge player phaenomenon Jean-Marie Mounier.  Carinda plays Slide Guitar, keys, Uke and Acoustic guitar while smacking you in the guts and sending shivers down your spine with her Big soulful vocals; together the band delivers the kind of performance that sticks with you long after the last song finishes.

With performances this year at festivals including Savannah Sounds, Black Mountain Picnic and Airlie Beach Festival, we're chuffed they'll be making their way to Julatten this September.

The First Act to Say Yes to Bushy

Here's a little Bushy trivia: Carinda Christie Band was the very first act to say "yes" to Bushy. Long before posters, programs and planning meetings filled the calendar, they backed the vision from the beginning.

If you've only ever seen Carinda perform solo - trust us, you're going to want to experience the full band!
